The Voice Kids PH grand champion, Lyca Gairanod, had a video uploaded by one Cherrlyn Argete over a year ago; when she was only 8 years old. It was apparently taken during one of their rounds getting junk from various neighborhoods and someone who knew she’s got talent asked her to sing and recorded it on video. She gladly rendered “I Love You”, a song by Willie Revillame which she performed with much enjoyment; giving it her best. At the end of the video, someone was heard telling her ‘Galing’ and another followed…”Kape, isasama kita doon…” If that last voice was the one who started her joining The Voice, well, great job! Together with her siblings and her mother, she asks for and collects plastics, cartons, bottles and any recyclable item which can be sold to a junk shop to augment their income.
